Date:  July 24TH – 29TH 2017

Place: SRH University Heidelberg, Germany

Target Group: Students and graduates of programs in business administration, economics, and sport science; sport management practitioners.

Degree / Level: suitable for 2nd Cycle Degree students, requiring a first Higher Education degree (e.g. Bachelor, Diploma) in business administration, economics, sport management, sport science and related programs, PhD students that are dealing with manipulation in professional sports in their research, in Business, Sports management / science or related fields, or graduate students with thematic priority on manipulation in sports.

Bachelor students if they are able to show their long-term interest in the topic.

Course language: English

Course content / Subject: In lectures, study trips and workshops, international students discuss during one week the growing threats from doping, match-fixing, corruption, etc.  in global sports. For additional information on the course content see Program

Places per course: 25 students

Costs: 250,- € (incl. course fee, activities and social program, some meals)

Scholarships: Since this Summer School is funded by the DAAD we are able to offer a limited number of scholarships. If you are interested in receiving a scholarship please leave a short message in the application form. There is no need to provide additional information. However, the decision will be made on you CV and motivation letter. Please note that the benefit is depending on your country of origin.

Credits: You should be able to receive academic credits (up to 3 ECTS) at your home institution for the SRH Summer School courses. SRH University Heidelberg will issue grade transcripts for your home university. Please check with your Study Abroad / International Office for details.
